This one day course is aimed at users who require basic skills in Excel. The training day will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to make best use of Excel to create, edit, format, print and manipulate simple spreadsheets.
You will work through a series of on-line exercises and will work at your own pace and be able to take away a learning guide to refer to once the training day is over.
It contains exercises covering the following topics:
- Spreadsheet principles
- Screen and worksheet
- The ribbon
- Moving around
- Task pane
- Creating a spreadsheet
- Saving and opening
- Cell formatting
- Worksheet formatting
- Manipulating workbooks
- Cell referencing
What you'll learn / gain skills in
The training will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to make best use of Excel to create, edit, format, print and manipulate simple spreadsheets.
No formal requirements, but you should have basic computer skills.
All delegates will complete a short initial assessment for literacy and numeracy. Delegates must also provide eligibility evidence to meet European Social Funding regulations, including:
- Employment status
- National Insurance number
The course can be attended by both the employed and unemployed.
