The course is aimed at employees who wish to increase their knowledge in the use of digital marketing within the business sector.

Digital marketing is a vast area and the course content can be adapted to suit the needs of the organisation to include the use of social media and other relevant topics.

For example, a typical one day course covering Search Engine Optimisation and Pay Per Click within the digital marketing context will cover the following areas:

  • Researching keywords and the use of tools associated with this
  • SEO techniques to build links and how they can help with your rankings
  • PPC advertising
  • AdWord optimisation and improving conversion rates from landing pages

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements. However, all students will complete a short initial assessment for literacy and numeracy. Students must also provide eligibility evidence to meet European Social Funding regulations, including:

  • Employment status
  • DOB
  • Residency
  • National Insurance number
