Have you always wanted to do Drama but something usually got in the way? Have you done it before but you went in another direction and would love to try it again?
We are offering a dynamic and thoroughly enjoyable drama night class, one evening a week, 6-9pm, for 15 weeks from Wednesday 17 January 2018. It’s a 3-hour class and is ABSOLUTELY FREE; with games, exercises, vocal skills, improvisation, scripted work and a lot of fun, and with the added bonus of boosting your confidence, presentation skills, team-working in a way that could help your career or job prospects.
Plus, at the end of it all you will achieve Level 2 unit certificates, as well as a great deal of satisfaction.
Please note that although we're really looking forward to making this programme happen, we'll only be able to run it if there are enough participants. If we are unable to run the course, and you're booked in, we'll endeavour to let you know with as much notice as possible.
What you'll learn / gain skills in
- Acting / presentation skills, communication, team-work and voice development (enunciation, projection etc.)
- Reading and memorising scripts
- Confidence building
No formal entry requirements, but a genuine interest in performing and/or using drama to develop personal confidence is essential.
The course can be attended by both the employed and unemployed.
