Overview

The introduction to Quality Control & Quality Assurance Tools & Techniques course will provide learners with a solid knowledge of the 7 tools of quality including fish bone charts, check sheets and control charts and how to use them.

What you'll learn / gain skills in

The learner will gain valuable skills in interpreting data using any of the 7 tools which will enable learners to carry out structured problem solving activities.

Learners will also be awarded a unit of accreditation. 

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements. However, all students will complete a short initial assessment on literacy & numeracy. Students must also provide eligibility evidence to meet European Social Funding regulations, including:

  • Employment status
  • DOB
  • Residency
  • National Insurance number

Additionally, to be eligible for this course you must:

Live in OR work in OR be seeking to grow your business within the Northumberland, Tyne and Wear or County Durham areas.

Learners would also benefit from recent or current quality control/assurance responsibilities within their job role.

You must be employed to be eligible for this course.
