This one day session will cover the principles of conflict management and team leading.  The course is aimed at all employees who wish to increase their knowledge in leading and managing teams. It will give new and aspiring junior managers an introduction into the skills and understanding needed to deal with management responsibilities with confidence and how to manage conflict within teams.

  • Manage team performance
  • Manage individual's performance 
  • Manage conflict
  • Understand grievance and discipline management systems

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements. However, all students will complete a short initial assessment for literacy and numeracy. Students must also provide eligibility evidence to meet European Social Funding regulations, including:

  • Employment status
  • DOB
  • Residency
  • National Insurance number

You should currently be in in a team leader role or be looking to gain new skills and knowledge in order to improve your opportunities for promotion.




You must be employed to be eligible for this course.
