The one day session is aimed at those wishing to learn the basic knowledge and skills necessary to make best use of Microsoft PowerPoint to create, edit, and produce professional presentations. The session will include exercises covering the following topics:

  • Creating presentations
  • Online pictures
  • Help
  • Organisation charts
  • Views
  • Tables and charts
  • Saving presentations
  • Printing and colour options
  • Slide formats
  • Bullets and numbering
  • Slide layout
  • Drawing and shapes
  • Find and replace data

What you'll learn / gain skills in

Students will increase the basic knowledge and skills necessary to make best use of Microsoft PowerPoint to create, edit, and produce professional presentations.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements. However, all students will complete a short initial assessment for literacy and numeracy. Students must also provide eligibility evidence to meet European Social Funding regulations, including:

  • Employment status
  • DOB
  • Residency
  • National Insurance number

The course can be attended by both the employed and unemployed.
